Maha Ganapati Mool Mantra: Lyrics, Meaning & Benefits
This is a highly potent mantra that is repeated to invoke Lord Ganesha, also known as Ganapati and Vinayaka, who is worshipped across the world. Success, affluence, prosperity, and fortune are provided by Vinayaka, the Lord of Good Fortune, who is also known as the Lord of Fortune. In addition, he is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of all types, both spiritual and physical in nature. Vinayaka, in an interesting twist, also lays impediments in the way of people who need to be checked out.
In the ninth century, Ganesha was officially recognized as one of the five principal deities of Smartism (Smarta Sampradaya), and he was given his own temple.
The iconic images of Lord Ganesha differ significantly from one another. Perhaps as a result of his form evolving over time from that of a basic elephant in the earliest images to the Lord Ganesh we know today, who typically has the head of an elephant and a wide rotund belly. Vinayaka is typically represented with four arms, while the number of arms can range from two to sixteen. With his four hands, Lord Vinayaka generally holds his own broken tusk in his lower-right hand and a laddoo sweet, which he consumes with his trunk, in his lower-left hand, while in the four-armed posture.
In the contemporary rendition, the lower-right hand does not grasp the broken tusk, but instead turns to face the observer in a gesture of defense and courage, similar to the traditional version (the abhaya mudra).
Vinayaka Mantra lyrics:
Omshreem hreem kleem klowm,Gum ganapathaye, Omshreem hreem kleem klowm Vara varatha sarvajanamay, Vasamanaya swaha, Ekadantaya vidmahe, Vara varatha sarvajanamay Dheemahi Vakratundaya dheemahi Tanno danti Prachodayat
Ganesh Gayatri mantra lyrics in Sanskrit:
“OM Ekadantaya VidmaheVakkratundaya DheemahiTanno Danti Prachodayat” means “OM Ekadantaya VidmaheVakkratundaya DheemahiTanno Danti Prachodayat.”
Translation and meaning in English:

- I have no idea who you are or what type of grace and strength is behind and above you, but you are providing a fantastic service to the billions of Hindus and non-Hindus throughout the world by delivering the audio-video, which includes the words of the song. May the Almighty rain even more blessings and strength onto us so that we can continue this duty. However, what I discovered was that there were several errors in both the textual version and the movie. Take, for example, Ayyappa Manthras. So I’m not sure which one I should listen to more: the performer or the written words. Could you please elaborate? I believe you would agree that this is a very important issue to discuss. Vaiyavan’s comment has been received and is being considered for publication. In order to be able to sing along or repeat the mantra while the video music is playing, the words have been given. I normally upload the lyrics ONLY AFTER HEARING the mantras and stotras a few times to ensure that the typed version is exactly as I intended it to be. The written version, on the other hand, may have certain flaws in some cases, which are not always obvious. When one of my respected website visitors notices a mistake, they write a remark, and I respond as quickly as I can to remedy the error. It would be really helpful if you could specifically identify which stotra or mantra had the problem. Once again, thank you. AbhilashMSReplyDelete
